Welcome to Anna Maria Fly Fishing Charters!

Since you’ve made you way to our site, we know that you are a different kind of angler. One who appreciates when the stars align. That moment in time, when a well-presented fly is taken by a trophy game fish. Not for the meat, or for the glory, but just for the excitement of the take. For the battle that will ensue. When a plan comes together and the picture you’ve painted in your mind, comes to fruition. We here at Anna Maria Fly Fishing Charters aim to place you in that situation. To put you in “the zone” for your shot. Whether it’s poling you up to a school of tailing Redfish at first light, or shooting the dock lights on a night trip for big Snook.

inshore fly fishing applications. It will get you there in a hurry and provide the stealth and versatility needed to get you into position for the shot. It’s equipped with a Power Pole, shallow water anchor for stopping silently. It can also be equipped with a trolling motor for covering a lot of ground, when necessary.

Fly Rod Gear and Flies – Skilled Fly Guides – We Tie Our Own Flies

We at Anna Maria Fly Fishing Charters pride ourselves in tying all of our own flies. We have been in the situations that provide the experience needed to know what the fish in our area are feeding on. As well as what weight and color patterns are working at that particular time. Often, we tie the flies needed for your experience the evening before your charter. Where else can you find that in a fly guide?

When it comes to equipment, if you’d like to bring your own setup, it’s highly encouraged. As we know how a relationship between the angler and his gear is something that is forged over time and tests. But, we will have all of the gear needed for whatever situation may arise.
